analogically speaking

Requirement;
  • Create a poem to describe Love based on a chili
  • Create a poem to describe Life based on a Lamborghini/fast car
  • Create a poem to describe Men/Women based on garbage

love Vs chili

this love is as hot as chili
makes me sweat
makes my blood run hot
makes me cry
yet i still go for more

life Vs lamborghini

his life is faster than a Lamborghini
it attracts girls who are skinny
wearing bikini
and drinking martini

men Vs Garbage

how can someone be so good,yet so smelly?
behind all that junk, hides a hunk
but he comes with too much bulk
and smells like a skunk
and likes to sulk
then hides in a can
but he still can
because he is my man
Amen!

Random word/image association

the cat was the random picture.and had to come up with words that are associated with a cat or words that immediately come to your mind when you see or hear cat. this is my list;

1.witch
2.claws
3.fighter
4.evil

Ok, thats enough name calling for one day!hahaha!anyway,unfortunatly for me the image we were required to make, the "scary eyes" were not so scary!!anyway, that being the case, i looked
online for images that i felt were most suitable to instantly frighten any person of any age!!

novelty, creativity, and invention and innovation.

novelty, creativity, and invention and innovation.

objective novelty
- something that is new to a person or a group whereas others might already know that something.
eg. a foreigner who just learn how to say words in another language. he/she may be new to the experience, while the natives of that language had been knowing that all along. *daaah*

subjective novelty - something that is new to the whole mankind. no one has ever know of it.
eg. an invention or findings that is new to the human race as it was never been seen before.

invention - invention refers to new concepts or products that derive from individual’s ideas or from scientific research.

innovation and creativity- i have already discussed this in one of my first few blog entries .

(The picture in this post shows all these ideas at once! what a quick,creative,new and lethal way to wean a baby!! *evil grin* muahahaha!)

when mergers go wrong

http://images.elfwood.com/art/e/r/erinpeta/fishbird.jpg
this class was pretty interesting!its a continuation of the one based on juxtaposition. We were required to choose two completely different kinds of animals and turn them into one,to see how their offspring would look like in case of mating. My choice was of a bird and a fish.it is a good example to show how mergers go wrong;

1.the two animals do not stay in the same environment, therefore do not stand a chance of mating. because neither one of them can survive in the others habitat.

2.assuming that scientists can extract the bird and the fish's reproductive cells, and fertilize them in a lab.this will still fail, because these two are from totally different species therefore conception will not even take place because of the DNA issues.

bill gates' metaphor-"microsoft earth"

Metaphorically speaking,i equate Bill Gates to a Microsoft earth! Bill gates being the founder of Microsoft computer, has contributed a great deal to making the world into a "global village". people can connect instantly with each other using the world wide web (www). The use of his computers and many other services are known and used world wide.the $dollar sign in the drawing signifies the amount of wealth he has acquired over the years,making him the world's wealthiest man alive! he definitely rules the world!he is the world!!

juxtaposition

oh man!this is by far the most interesting topic we have ever discussed in class.Juxtaposition means;

1. an act or instance of placing close together or side by side, esp. for comparison or contrast.

2.
the state of being close together or side by side.

sources :http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/juxtaposition

class exercise:
(make 2 list of objects side by side,then number them.later choose randomly any two and pair them)
Example is the illustration on the left.

Oh no!not another hair style!

Oh well!what can i say!i love experimenting with my hair!Or my sister's hair!anyway,this picture shows both innovation and creativity. really crazie mohawk!!lol!
Ohh!you probably might be wondering what that thing is on my ear!oh well!what can i say!i love all sort of art!im crazy about body art!its a great way of expressing my personality without even uttering a word!it shows that im forthcoming, willing to take risks!and a whole lot more! you guys are probably thinking that im a bad girl....muahahhahaha! maybe....maybe not! *grin*

class exercise- Evil me

In class we were told to brainstorm about things that show that you are evil.brace yourself for the horror! of true evil!muhahahaha

*thats creeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy*

mind map

http://www.blog.iqmatrix.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/mind-mapping-benefits.jpg

I understand that mind mapping is a form of brainstorming where creative diagrams are used to express relationships between ideas or other pieces of information.

According to Wikipedia, It has been suggested that the mind mapping technique can improve learning/study efficiency up to 15% over conventional note taking.

The above Illustration is a good example of how people use this technique. Take note of how ideas are spread out, hence offering a clear and broad perspective of the subject at hand.

NB:this is not my original mind map,i got it from the web :-p
